Through our interdisciplinary programming, Arts students put ideas and issues into local, international and historical perspectives and develop creative solutions. We cultivate learning that challenges our students to communicate effectively, question assumptions and work cooperatively. Greetings from the Dean

"Welcome to the Faculty of Arts! Created in 1925, we are the oldest and one of the largest Faculties at 51��ɫ. Today, we offer 21 undergraduate and 9 graduate programs across the social sciences and the humanities and pride ourselves on offering an unparalleled student experience, including community-engaged learning, travel abroad, experiential learning, and co-op, among many other things. Our faculty members are dedicated and innovative teachers whose research has a real impact on our community at the local, national, and global levels, and our alumni work across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. That’s the Arts advantage at 51��ɫ!"
