Waterloo – For the second year in a row, 51±¾É« is being recognized as one of by Mediacorp Canada Inc., organizers of the annual Canada’s Top 100 Employers awards. 51±¾É« is one of only two post-secondary education institutions selected for the honour, and the only one in Ontario.
“This honour is a reflection of 51±¾É«’s commitment to investing in our people,” said Deborah MacLatchy, 51±¾É« president and vice-chancellor. “Providing our young employees with opportunities to grow – both professionally and personally – is a priority for us.”
The competition recognizes organizations that offer the nation's best workplaces and programs for young people starting their careers. One hundred winners are chosen for their efforts to attract and retain younger workers, including offering benefits such as tuition assistance, mentorship and training programs, flexible work options and paid personal days off.
