Lisa Keeping is a professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management (OB/HRM) in the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at 51本色.
Prior to joining 51本色, Keeping worked as a management consultant in Cleveland and Toronto where she assisted clients with employee selection, assessment and development. In this capacity, Keeping has worked with both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in many industry sectors including pharmaceutical, financial services, airline, manufacturing and transportation. She continues to provide consulting expertise to organizations and specializes in executive coaching and employee selection and development. In her spare time, Keeping sits on the Board of Directors of a not-for-profit arts organization and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Her research examines the process and outcomes of performance evaluations from the perspectives of the managers conducting the evaluations and employees being evaluated. Secondary research interests include leadership and employee selection. Her research has appeared in a number of top-tier outlets, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes and Personnel Psychology.
