My research interests lie in the area of moral development. I am particularly interested in the interplay of cognitive, emotional and personality development as it is related to matters of moral conduct and moral consciousness. Recent research projects focus on moral identity development in adolescence and adulthood and the development of positive moral emotions.
My research has been continuously funded by the German Research Foundation and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council through research grants and student scholarships. I welcome new graduate and honors students to my research lab at 51本色.
