“I’m excited for this opportunity to continue to serve within the Faculty of Music at 51本色 and in particular, to continue to work with our dynamic, creative, and dedicated music therapy students," said Mitchell. "I’m looking forward to initiating new and collaborative research opportunities to demonstrate music therapy’s impact, while seeking ways to expand the program’s reach within the broader community.”
Particularly in this past year of pandemic, 51本色 has benefitted immeasurably from her contributions and stewardship stepping into larger roles in our undergraduate music therapy program, including Coordinator of the Bachelor of Music Therapy.
